Cantiq Living is a Canadian-based home décor and lifestyle brand connecting the rich traditions of Indonesian craftsmanship with contemporary spaces across North America.
Our name, Cantiq (pronounced “chun-tick”), comes from the Indonesian word for “beautiful.” To us, beauty lives in the finished piece, the natural materials that shape it, and the hands and traditions behind it.

Founder Hartati “Ati” Suganda grew up in Indonesia surrounded by craftsmanship, art, architecture, and natural materials. After living and studying abroad and experiencing cultures across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America, she saw an opportunity to share the remarkable work of Indonesian makers with a wider audience.
Founded in 2018, Cantiq Living began with a simple idea: create a meaningful bridge between Indonesia’s skilled artisans and the North American design community. Today, we work closely with makers to bring traditional techniques into contemporary living.

We work with Indonesian makers who know how to transform distinctive natural materials through traditional techniques. Our collections include rattan, ata, seagrass, abaca, banana bark, water hyacinth, terracotta, petrified wood, reclaimed wood, and recycled glass.
We choose materials for their texture, character, function, and warmth. Natural variations in tone, grain, and weave make each handcrafted piece unique. Where possible, reclaimed and recycled materials are given new purpose through thoughtful design.
